French Restaurant Group Reveals Plans For Midlands & North

BISTROT Pierre, the rapidly expanding independently owned French restaurant group, has revealed plans for four new bistrots in the West Midlands and North of England.

The group is opening bistrots in Kidderminster, Lichfield, Southport and Middlesborough that will not only see £3.7 million being invested in the regions’ food and drink scenes, but also create more than 200 jobs in the hospitality industry.

This announcement follows the success of new openings in Altrincham, Weston-super-Mare, Birmingham and Newport in the last 18 months.

Bistrot Pierre serves great value authentic French bistrot dishes and prides itself on creating an exceptional dining experience for customers in its beautiful French-styled interiors. These new openings are part of the company’s plans for further growth following the £9.8m investment from Livingbridge in 2015.

Rob Beacham, co-owner for Bistrot Pierre, said: “We chose the new sites due to the potential they offer in terms of location, footfall and being part of significant retail and leisure initiatives within each town.

“We are delighted to be investing in the already thriving food and drink scenes in these regions, which will not only regenerate the areas, but also encourage more people to shop and eat there – thereby improving the local economies and infrastructures.

“The success of our recently-opened restaurants is a good indicator of the loyal customer base Bistrot Pierre has established in each area, and a reflection of how the group’s reputation, brand and popularity is growing within the food and drink sector.”
