London Coffee Festival To Showcase Matthew Algie’s Latest Offerings

MA Milk pourLeading independent coffee roaster, Matthew Algie, will once again be exhibiting at this year’s London Coffee Festival – one of the UK’s largest speciality coffee and artisan food festivals.

Matthew Algie is a well-established coffee shop authority, supplying coffee, machines, training and industry insight to thousands of operators across the UK and Ireland.

Andrew Jack, Head of Marketing at Matthew Algie, commented: “We are constantly looking at new ways in which we can help boost our customers’ businesses. There have been many exciting developments at Matthew Algie in the last year, including the launch of a number of new coffees as part of our hand-roasted collection, which we look forward to sharing with London Coffee Festival visitors.”

“We will also be showcasing the latest new and exciting offerings from our summer Espresso Warehouse catalogue, including a range of new brewing kit to help operators create the perfect drinks for their customers all year round. Our expert staff will be on hand to make delicious coffee, demonstrate our brand new barista equipment as well as offer insider tips to operators.”

Amongst the coffees being shown are the latest additions to their Hand-Roasted collection which boasts single origins – Tana Toraja and Raja Batak – along with a seasonal espresso blend – Balthazar’s Brew.

Visitors to the stand will have the opportunity to sample Matthew Algie coffee from around the world and take part in some fun, interactive sessions including the coffee tasting challenge, where participants can put their taste buds to the test for the chance to win their own bag of hand-roasted microlot coffee or even some brew bar kit.

Meanwhile, for those looking for insider tips, a team of coffee specialists from Matthew Algie will be on hand to talk about everything from coffee trends and menu development to selecting the perfect machine and getting the most from staff training.

Matthew Algie will be located at stand SO11 in the Soho Zone. The London Coffee Festival runs from 30th April – 3rd May at The Old Truman Brewery. Industry days are on Thursday and Friday.
