Tyron Stephens-Smith from TAG UK and CHR Food Service Equipment’s Paul Neville have been appointed as the new vice chairmen for ceda following the recent all-regions meeting at the Commercial Kitchen Show.
“Paul is very knowledgeable and a familiar figure in our industry and Tyron has been one of the driving forces in the ceda Academy and making a notable contribution to the growth of TAG. Both will support their respective regional chairs; Tyron will work with Cathy Wilcox to steer ceda’s Southern Region and Paul will be alongside Kirstin Hatherley supporting her role as Northern Region chair. I’m sure they will relish the roles and help ceda during our continued drive for growth,” says Adam Mason, ceda director general.
Talking about his appointment CHR’s managing director Paul Neville, says, “I feel extremely proud to have been asked to represent ceda as the Northern regional vice chair. CHR Food Service Equipment have been a part of ceda for many years which has really added value to us and our customers in so many ways, especially by allowing us to engage with other members to share best practice and connect with the wider industry. I think it’s an exciting time too, with so much good work already delivered in education and training and the recent project on the new ceda brand to represent its membership has been outstanding.
“In the short term I’m here to listen and learn and to continue to promote the exceptional work the membership provides across our industry and hope to add value to ceda where I can.”
Adding his views on being appointed as the ceda Southern Region vice chairman, Tyron Stephens-Smith, comments, “I am very proud to be appointed. As a younger member it’s a great opportunity to voice the views of a new generation within the industry who are helping to shape its future.”
