Bellavita has announced new dates for its London Expo, which will be held a month earlier this year, from 18 – 20 June at the Business Design Centre in Islington.
Bellavita Expo – London 2017 is the largest Made-in-Italy food and beverage trade show in the UK. The three-day event provides a dynamic and enjoyable opportunity to discover future Italian food, drink and wine trends, and product innovations.
Attracting thousands of buyers, chefs and hoteliers, Bellavita Expo offers a showcase for hundreds of artisanal producers from all regions of Italy, championing the pioneers who are devoted to bringing true excellence and diversity to Italian gastronomy.
Food trends will be a major focus for this year’s event with a large scale study of buying trends ahead of the show. Bellavita’s CEO Aldo Mazzocco says: “We already run a very successful programme at the show with talks from some of the finest Italian chefs and sommeliers from across Italy. We want to do more for the hospitality sector by giving them trends information that will help them to plan for 2018.

Bellavita has appointed former Ascential Plc Head of Retail Marketing, Saul Leese as Marketing Director in a move to grow Bellavita international events. During his time at Ascential, Saul oversaw the £50 million retail portfolio of events including the UK’s biggest trade event Spring Fair as well as Autumn Fair, Pure London, Glee and Jewellery and Watch Show with over 120,000 retail professional visitors.
