TODAY, The Sausage Man, a leading UK based German sausage and hot dog wholesaler opens its online shop to the entirety of the English public.
This move comes in response to the unprecedented coronavirus crisis, which has hit supermarkets, suppliers and online retailers with unforeseen demand for produce.
“In times like these we need to help our fellow businesses and the general public.” Says Michael Juska, Managing Director of The Sausage Man UK Ltd.
“After seeing the empty shelves in the big supermarkets, watching online retailers forced to close due to the demand, we knew we needed to do something for the local businesses and for the members of the public.” He continues.
“Doing my weekly shopping this morning and finding the shelves empty – especially meats and sausages – urged me to do this. Our stocks are full, and we still get deliveries from Germany”
The wholesaler has completely removed their minimum order requirement and is doing free next day delivery for orders over £65 (SIXTY FIVE POUNDS). For customers who can collect from their Dartford depot, there are no restrictions or fees.
Their entire sumptuous variety of premium quality, gluten-free sausages are available on their web shop. This includes a kid’s range and features halal and vegan sausages, but also accompaniments like Sauerkraut, ketchup and pulled pork. Even bakery articles are available.
