Whittlebury Park is celebrating a big win at the Carlsberg UK Northamptonshire Food & Drink Awards as their fine dining restaurant, Murrays, has been announced as the winner for Restaurant of the Year. The Food & Drink Awards celebrate the unique and exceptional culinary sector within the county, from pubs and producers to cafes and restaurants, as well as recognition for individuals too.
Now in its eleventh year, the Food & Drink annual Awards Night is the culmination of an in-depth judging process to find the best of the best in a glittering ceremony which was held this year at the Royal & Derngate in Northampton with special guest award-winning wine expert, Olly Smith, in attendance. As part of the judging process for Restaurant of the Year, mystery guests dined at Murrays to experience the outstanding menu and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant.
Murrays Head Chef, Harvey Lockwood said: “The Food & Drink Awards are an incredibly prestigious event and the team and I are honoured to have won Restaurant of the Year.
